This time the topic of our meetup is “Insider Secrets to Educational Startups”, where you will have an opportunity to learn about launching and scaling up education ventures, get a market overview and investors’ insights, find out about opportunities and trends, success stories and fails, monetization and more…
Traditionally, we will meet together for networking, exchange of ideas, thoughts and opinions.
Our amazing speakers will be:
- Michael Staton, Partner at Learn Capital, a Venture Firm, focused on education. Helped Learn Capital Invest in Coursera, DIY, Rockit Education and others. Michael will elaborate on market trends, opportunities, successful stories and fails and will share investor’s insights and recommendations for educational startups.
- Guido Kovalskys, CEO at Nearpod, serial entrepreneur and 10-time Ironman finisher. Nearpod is a mobile learning platform helping teachers reimagine the way they do live instruction using iPads and other mobile devices in the classroom and used by over 1.5M students monthly that. Guido will speak about the challenges of launching a mobile edtech startup, different go-to-market and monetization strategies that can be explored in the space, based on his experience as a Nearpod founder.
